Vitiligo is the medical term for leucoderma. Leucoderma is a disease that causes the destruction of the melanocyte in our skin, which is produced by the pigment called melanin. Melanin is the pigment that is responsible for balancing and maintaining our skin color. If the pigment loses its immune, it starts to create white patches in the less immune parts of the body. It won't show any other symptoms before it occurs in our body.
There are a lot of reasons for getting affected by this disease called Leucoderma. It could raise from genetics to the autoimmune disorder that includes Thyroid and others. Some of the significant and usual causes of Leucoderma are thermal burns, accidental cuts, Psoriasis, and ulcers which results in the formation of the white patches. When the body is exposed to certain chemicals like butyl phenol, then that also Leucoderma symptoms and causes might be triggered.
